FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENTS: We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2020 Semester!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a tutor for the Howard University Office of Undergraduate Studies, Center for Tutoring & Learning Support Services! 



Undergraduate students interested in becoming a tutor must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 
  • Current HU student 
  • Must participate and complete tutor training
  • Must be available to work 20 hours per week
  • Available Nights and Weekends

Flexible schedules respective of all time zones.


  • Meet with students promptly at pre-scheduled times and locations.
  • Help students master course material by coaching them to independently complete their assignments.
  • Maintain current and accurate records of hours worked.
  • Review the tutor manual and sign the confirmation form denoting your understanding of the material provided.
