Mecca Made Badge Attainment

The ACE Learning Services and Career Education of the Academic Center for Excellence now host the Mecca Made Professional Certification Program!

Aligned with the expected outcomes of the Howard University Second-Year Experience, initiative led by the Howard University Office of Undergraduate Studies' ACE Learning Services (a part of Lumina Foundation's "HBCU Student Success Project) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Mecca Made Professional Certification Program creates an opportunity for Howard University's freshmen and second-year students to engage in meaningful and impactful academic and career-readiness experiences that disrupt hindrances to retention and graduation.

Badge Attainment

The Mecca Made Professional Certification Program consists of 10 Competencies for Mecca Made Badge Attainment:

Participants of the Mecca Made Professional Certification Program must upload qualifying proof of events and projects, listed in the drop below, for badge attainment. 

Mecca Made Peer Mentors and ACE staff will review all submitted evidences for badge attainment.
