New Student Checklist
All new students should complete the following upon notification of admission:
- Pay the required enrollment deposit in order to confirm your intention to matriculate at Howard University!
- Memorize your Howard University ID number
- Set up your Bison email account and check it regularly for important information and updates. All official university communication will be sent to your official university email account.
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Check BisonWeb regularly to view ensure that your contact information is correct and that you are aware of any changes posted to your account.
- Complete and submit the Medical Clearance documents
- Pay the required housing deposit to apply for on-campus housing
- Complete the Welcome to Howard Module (Via your personalized admissions portal)
- Register for Bison PREP (Via your personalized student admissions portal)
