ACE Student Success Initiatives

ACE Student Success Initiatives provide a range of student success initiatives, including orientation, retention, persistence, and transfer student programming. ACE provides high-impact programming and retention practices that build student capacity to make informed academic decisions, develop resiliency, and maximize their potential. ACE initiatives are designed to create community and assist with a range of transitions including moving from high school to college, community college to university, first- to second-year, senior to alumni, and more.

Through signature programming such as virtual orientation, Bison Prep (our summer program), and Bison Week (held prior to the beginning of the fall semester), ACE assists and supports students in developing a sense of belonging, which is necessary to be academically successful at Howard University and beyond.
