Knowledge of Human Cultures and the Physical and Natural World

The General Education Committee determined that the following are Student Learning Disciplines for the Essential Learning Outcome, Knowledge of Human Cultures, and the Physical and Natural World.

• Art and Humanities​

• Intercultural Knowledge and World Language Competency​

• African Diaspora Awareness​

• Science and Environmental Consciousness​

Schools and colleges were asked to discuss areas of agreement and areas for improvements to submit to the General Education Committee. 

There were no revisions to this learning outcome by any of the curriculum committees.
